Storyline

As a young boy, Link was tricked by Ganondorf, the King of the Gerudo Thieves. The evil human used Link to gain access to the Sacred Realm, where he placed his tainted hands on the Triforce and transformed the beautiful Hylian landscape into a barren wasteland. Link was determined to fix the problems he helped to create, so with the help of Rauru he traveled through time gathering the powers of the Seven Sages. After a grueling quest, Link eventually faced Ganondorf, and watched as the wicked soul transformed into Ganon. When the battle was over, Link had successfully sealed Ganon in the Dark World.

Features

The Rebirth of a Legend...and a True Hero's Challenge

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, considered by many to be the best adventure ever created, arrives on the Nintendo GameCube, faithfully reproduced and displayed in high resolution. As a special bonus, this disc also contains the never-before-released Master Quest, a second journey through Ocarina of Time with newly laid-out - and incredibly challenging - dungeons. Only true heroes will make it through this quest alive...

§ Guided by a mysterious ocarina, Link will have to travel through time as he fights evil in different stages of his life.

§ As Link becomes immersed in a story for the ages, he'll explore a vast world filled with fascinating characters and dangerous creatures.

§ Battle your way through the original adventure - one of the greatest games of all time - or take the epic challenge of the remixed Master Quest.

Interesting Facts

§ This disc came as a bonus for those who pre-ordered The Wind Waker.

§ Ocarina of Time's graphics have been cleaned-up for the GameCube.

§ Also on the disc are several previews of other Nintendo titles, including The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, and WarioWorld, among others.

§ It is possible that Ura Zelda turned into Master Quest when the 64 DD project failed. However, a lot of features promised in Ura Zelda never made it into Master Quest.
