I've actually wanted to do this for some time. I opened my first character shrine, Zealous, in August of 2000 and had so much fun with it, that I thought of making one to Link, too. However, Zelda character shrines are rare to non-existant and I guess I just didn't feel like trying something new. The idea stuck in my head, though, and eventually I couldn't take it anymore.
The Legend of Zelda is by far one of my favorite series and it wasn't a difficult choice to pick Link as a character to make a site for. I decided to focus on Link I from Ocarina of Time, considering OoT is the Zelda game I am most familiar with. I have played many of the other Zelda games, but...that was so long ago. o_O Also, by only dedicating this site to one Link, it allows me to offer more in-depth information. I don't have to worry myself with coming up with unique sections for each character.
Overall I got lucky, because years after Ocarina of Time was released, Link I is still showing up in various games. So for the time being, I'm not running dry on news or new media.
